Interview Kickstart is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our technology team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure that supports our innovative education and training programs. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ultimately ensuring that we have reliable and actionable data to drive decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and store large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and usability for analysis.
- Implement data integration strategies from multiple sources and systems.
- Optimize data storage solutions and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Monitor data quality and implement data governance best practices.
- Support data architecture design and contribute to building a robust data strategy.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and big data technologies (e.g., AWS Redshift, SQL, Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database management systems.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
