Freelance - Contract Phototographer

The Lazarus Naturals and Cycling Frog brands are looking to bring on a contract photographer (position runs April-August) to capture the story of our products and brand. The Photographer is a curious storyteller who’s passionate about crafting engaging photographic narratives across multiple platforms. They are responsible for delivering photo content for both brands. They are in-touch with the latest styles, imagery, and storytelling techniques. 

Job Duties

• Carrying out execution of pre-production, photography, and post-production for weekly shoots, or as needed.
• Helping plan and coordinate photoshoots by scouting locations, drafting shot lists, creating call sheets, and coordinating props as needed.
• Shooting photos in the studio and the field to capture the essence of the products and brand stories.
• Prepare and format photos to support various multimedia including video, .gif, audio, and photo essay forms.
• Helps maintain the photo studio as needed.
• Supports video production as needed on shoots.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in photography and photo production.
• A diverse photo portfolio with filming and post-production experience in marketing or advertising production.
• Exceptional creativity and innovation.
• Skilled at using Canon 5D Mark II and smartphones to capture and create photos, videos, GIFs, and multimedia.
• Experience with cinema film cameras, studio lighting and serving as a grip on film sets a plus.
• Strong communication skills with fine attention to detail.
• Able to meet short deadlines, follow creative briefs, work in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and departments.
• Required Software experience: Adobe Creative Suite (with high proficiency in Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom), Google suite, Office suite.
• Ability to operate drones and FAA license is desirable.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
