Machine Shop Coordinator

• Create purchases requests for Machine Shop using D365
• Leading internal machine shop projects
• Work closely with the quality control team to ensure timely inspections and address any non-conformities in production.
• Refurbishing fall-out parts
• Decide if blemished machined parts can be reworked
• ensure raw materials and components are ordered and available in line with production needs
• train new metal finishing/sandblaster
• oversee the metal finishing/sandblasting department

Requirements

Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing scheduling/coordinating role.

Skills:

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication  skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with machining processes, tooling, and quality standard
