Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented Sr. Software Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering team. In this role, you will be the first line in resolving critical solution issues including bug fixes, quick feature requests, and extensive technical troubleshooting. As a Sr. Sustaining Engineer, you are the go-to resource for solving difficult problems and providing our clients with quick solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience providing highly technical support to clients in the SaaS industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting critical client-reported issues within Aravo’s suite of solutions
• Develop features and services in highly scalable and reliable backend systems in a distributed system environment.
• Write clean, high-quality, well-tested and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve defects and escalations.
• Spearheading maintenance and upgrade activities
• Proactively identifying opportunities for automation to reduce manual support activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support software applications.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Assisting with the development of test procedures
• Optimize the performance and scalability of our solutions
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis for issues, providing detailed reports and action items.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in a technical position within a SaaS organization

• 5+ years of career experience with software development languages such as Java, AngularJS, ReactJS, Angular etc.
• 5 + years of relational database experience ideally with Oracle
• Experience debugging complex applications
• Expertise with Java-based web services

• Experience providing in-depth troubleshooting and bug fixes

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
