Full Job Description
PTW is a leading global gaming services company, committed to delivering exceptional gaming experiences. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager / Treasurer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
This is a hybrid position but we require candidates to be based near Medford, Oregon along our C-Suite, as this is a very important role for the company.
Finance Management:
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting activities and book closures.
- In-depth knowledge of local accounting rules (USGAAP), regulations, and taxes in the USA.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (USGAAP).
- Participate in the development and implementation of internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Income Tax, etc.) and maintain secure storage of financial information.
- Prepare supporting information for annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Regularly meet with the VP Finance to improve processes, turnaround time, etc.
- Assist the Studio Head in managing the studio P&L efficiently, providing relevant financial insights and analysis.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow and prepare forecasts in accordance with policy.
- Ensure the company's cash needs are maintained.
- Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure proper recording, amortization, and disposal.
- People Management and Development:
- Effectively manage the performance of team members through progress reviews and clear communication of objectives.
- Foster a positive working relationship with the team and other departments.
- Communicate effectively with the team, ensuring information is clear, accurate, and timely.
- Encourage team participation in information relay within and outside the department.
MIS and Reporting:
- Maintain financial records for US sites/Line of Business to facilitate management reports.
- Assist FP&A teams in budget preparation by providing relevant information regularly.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual departments.
Requirements
- Candidates must reside near Medford or be willing to relocate there.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree, ideally Master’s degree, in a relevant field such Finance, or Business Administration.
- Professional Qualification: USCAP/Chartered Accountant/CMA/ICWA (not mandatory but preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive financial responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with a focus on advanced Excel skills.
- Good communicator with a "Get It Done" attitude.
