About the Role:
We are looking for a Weld Repair Technician to join our Aftermarket team who will support Eriez customers by promptly repairing and refurbishing their equipment with the highest of quality standards to maintain and grow long-term partnerships and increase the Eriez business. All work completed should mirror the mission and core values of the company; ensure we are providing prompt, superb repair to new and existing customer.
Responsibilities:

- Priorities of work:
- Weld tasks (proficient in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and non-sanitary GTAW processes), air arching, plasma, use of oxy acetylene torches, etc.) in the repair center
- . Disassembly and Assembly of customer equipment in the repair center
- Repair and refurbish heavy industry products such as SE magnets, all drums, ECS rotors and large feeders
- Light fabrication of small parts or fixtures
- Weld new equipment jobs in the event the repair center has gaps of work
- Assist production in troubleshooting and assembling customer orders
- Work closely with sales, engineering, research, and manufacturing to improve products
- All other duties as assigned by Aftermarket Director
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience welding, assembling, and repairing industrial equipment
- Associate degree, trade skill degree or equivalent work-related experience
- Mechanical, electrical, and technical ability to handle details of repairs
- Demonstrated leadership ability. Able to work with little supervision and make on the job decisions
- Ability to read and understand equipment AutoCAD drawings, including mechanical and electrical details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with coworkers and customers
- Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and regulations, mechanical standards, OSHA, industry and Eriez safety practices or ability and willingness to learn

Hourly Pay starts at $23/hr.
