Full Job Description

Weisberg Law, a renowned law firm, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Staff Attorney to join our team. As a Corporate Staff Attorney, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support to our corporate clients. With a strong emphasis on corporate law, you will assist clients in domestic and international transactions, corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and contract negotiations. Additionally, you will work closely with clients, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide expert legal advice to ensure their business goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate law matters
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies
  • Prepare and review due diligence materials for mergers and acquisitions
  • Assist in the negotiation, drafting, and review of commercial contracts
  • Advise clients on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with legal regulations
  • Coordinate and manage legal projects, including maintaining case files and deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively resolve legal issues

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing
  • 2-4 years of experience as a corporate attorney at a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Solid understanding of corporate law, contracts, and intellectual property
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with international transactions is a plus
