Customer Service Representative | Harrisburg

Columbia Ancillary Services, CAS, seeks an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to act as a liaison between the Company and the facilities and individuals that we service.

CAS has been a family-owned business since 1991, providing quality equipment and services to skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, VAs, personal care homes, and home health. At CAS, we provide quality products and services, excellent customer service, building relationships with our customers and patients.

Essential Functions

• Representing the company professionally and courteously in all interactions with clients/patients.
• Obtaining orders from the Customers we service, via phone/email or VA ordering system (POVIDTS)
• Coordinating paperwork flow.
• Scheduling
• Establish and maintain client records.
• Correlating patient satisfaction surveys
• Communicate with the billing department to ensure proper billing
• Data input into the company’s systems
• Receiving of deliveries of equipment and parts
• Inventory of VA-owned equipment in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Branch Manager and General Manager.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in Home Medical (HME) Customer Service preferred.
• Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in speaking and writing.
• Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
• Computer skills that include knowledge of Microsoft Office and the efficient use of internet and e-mail.
• Insurance reimbursement knowledge and health insurance billing experience a plus.

Hire will be contingent upon the results of a background report.
