Data Platform Engineer - Remote

Title – Data Platform Engineer

     Position – 6+ Months contract to hire

     Location – Remote

     Rate - $Open (Best Possible)

• 8-10 years of experience with IBM i server administration and DB2 for i platform (DB2/400) required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with DB2 for i as a database administrator (DBA).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and OLTP/OLAP concepts.
• Proficiency in IBM i navigation, including ACS, Schemas, Run SQL, plan cache, stored procedures, and creating user-defined functions (UDFs).
• Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, sub-selects, and with statements.
• Proven experience managing high-volume, high-velocity application/data environments.
