Maintenance Technician - Second Shift

Snap-Tite Hose, a leading manufacturer of fire, agricultural, and industrial hoses, is seeking a skilled and self-directed Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment used in hose manufacturing. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering high-quality products to customers worldwide.

The starting wage for this position is $21-$26 per hours based on experience and a $2.00/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Conducts planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Performs and maintains monthly and quarterly PM schedules on all plant equipment including compressors, boilers, and heating equipment.
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assist in the installation or repair of equipment.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements test runs on machinery as required.
• Performs basic plumbing, welding, and HVAC repairs as needed.
• Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow and maintain lock out tag out records for all equipment at assigned facility.
• Performs all work using safety equipment as instructed while obeying all safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

This position requires some on-the-job training. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, and technical certificate must be held by employee to qualify for this position. In lieu of technical training certificate, equivalent experience, other technical training or combination of the two may be acceptable to fulfill qualifications.
