Our Mission 

Pepper primarily serves people who direct music programs in schools, churches, and community groups, and it’s our goal to thrill them with our service throughout their careers.  The My Score Lead role must provide value to Pepper’s customers, matching the enormous passion directors have for bringing music to their communities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support My Score to expand composer participation in My Score and grow revenue through sales of My Score music.
  • Product Own My Score backlog, user stories, and sprint participation (including testing and bug reporting).
  •  Provide My Score reporting for the executive suite.
  •  Own the My Score composer relationship and onboarding program for best outcomes.
  •  Identify and own the relationship with crucial composer organizations, such as ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and the ACF. Make recommendations on events essential to attend for the company. Identify business opportunities related to associations.
  •  Represent Pepper at key events for our My Score customers at national, regional, and state conferences.
  •  Carry out My Score presentations in person or online as needed. Be available as a resource to present to key accounts as the Account Management Team needs.
  •  Deliver insights into the composer markets, including market opportunities, influencers, content, and Pepper services and website use.
  •  Develop key value points, messaging, and services that resonate with My Score composers. Collaborate with internal marketing, product, and account management teams to develop improved customer experiences.
  •  Promote and grow sales of music products and My Score Subscriptions.
  • Utilize company systems to log and track communication and relationships.

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with composers to get best outcomes for their involvement with My Score
  • Build the My Score platform through marketing and sales activities
  • Monitor trends, the voice of composers, and KPIs
  • Communicate with departments on opportunities and challenges for My Score customers

Requirements

  • Possess a high level of professionalism and ethic
  • Commitment to a team approach
  • Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
  • Must be able to communicate sales requirements across different levels of the organization
  • Must be well versed in effectively interacting with customers and working in sales methodologies
  • Proficient in the use of online video conferencing and presentation tools
  • Travel to events as needed
  • Demonstrate and promote proper handling of copyrighted materials
  • College degree required
