Full Job Description
Our client, a front-runner in developing UPS systems and battery backup power solutions, is looking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer. This position reports directly to the VP of Engineering and plays a key role in the research and design of both new and existing power electronics product lines.
Key Proficiencies:
- Design and analysis in DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC conversions.
- PCB design utilizing Altium.
- Analog and Digital Circuit Designs.
- Use of LTSpice for simulation.
- Thermal design and analysis, including FLOW simulation.
- Understanding of various power electronics and UPS topologies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop electrical designs for innovative and existing product lines.
- Conduct end-to-end evaluation and testing of microcontroller-based controllers and associated software, integrating with UPS Inverter hardware.
- Experience with PIC controller and knowledge of UL924 are advantageous.
- Execute system-level testing in a lab environment.
- Exhibit flexibility, proactivity, and a drive for innovation.

- Perform testing of electronic units and software, analyze results for performance evaluation and necessary adjustments.
- Maintain and document operation of equipment.
- Provide troubleshooting, support, and customer education regarding product usage.
- Document technical design details and maintain knowledge of the latest engineering tools.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, with a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, power electronics, PCB layout using Altium, physics, mathematics, and statistics.
- 3-10 years of industry experience, particularly in power electronics focusing on UPS and emergency backup solutions.
