Job Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Product Entry, the Product Entry Specialist will enter new product meta data into our systemsand work with suppliers, marketing, and other Pepper teams to ensure products are accurately listed for sale on the company website. A music background is required for ease in identifying and capturing key aspects of musical works. This position is a full-time position on site in our Exton, PA office.
Responsibilities:
- Enter product data for music products received from suppliers
- Identify categories and data from physical copies received from publishers
- Create reports to gather and manipulate product data for uploading into company systems
- Upload digital files to make products available for sale on the company website
- Monitor and respond to internal Product Help requests
- Communicate with suppliers to acquire information to create new and update older products
- Work with other departments on matters that impact our product induction and availability
- Adjust product pricing as needed
- Perform data cleanup tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Commitment to working in a collaborative environment
- Facility with using Excel, Word, and other Office products
- Ability to do thorough, accurate, detailed work
- Music knowledge including ability to read notes, identify musical performance categories by examining a musical score, and familiarity with common music genres and terminology
- Commitment to supporting musicians by bringing new music to the fore
- Dedication to a team concept where your contribution supports others
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 25+ lbs occasionally
