Faro Health aims to improve lives by helping life sciences companies answer complex clinical questions, simply, efficiently and effectively. Our software platform is used to orchestrate complex clinical development with a single source of truth. We are seeking a highly motivated, multidisciplinary individual with a strong background in at least one of the core disciplines - programming, clinical, data, biostatistics, and/or research, marketing or business analytics - to join our team as an intern/co-op in Professional Services. The ideal candidate will have prior internship experience and be studying towards a degree in biomedical engineering, quantitative science, computer science, marketing or business analytics.

Goals:
- Expand the capabilities of the Professional Services organization and of Faro Health
- Creatively solve enduring challenges to build a foundation of Professional Services success in the short and long term and for our customers
Responsibilities:
- Support creative solutions to customer-facing challenges
- Analyze unstructured and structure content and data and provide analysis
- Contribute to the development of training materials and collateral
- Research common or leading clinical trials for analysis and modeling
- Analyze clinical trials for complexity, providing complexity rating model
- Collate documentation, materials, presentations, recordings into repeatable model
- Analyze software competitive market position and determine value points
- Analyze software feature set as compared to market position and determine value points
- Participate in data quality control and data cleaning activities
- Participate in team meetings and present findings and progress updates as required
- Support professional services team members as needed
Requirements
Requirements:
- Understanding of software development, data management, and implementation lifecycles
- Understanding of commercial lifecycles acquisition through closure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Technical skills in data management and analysis (preferred SQL, Python, R, Google Looker, etc.)
Potential Projects/ Themes:
- Help write an industry paper for Study Design Article on Value Engineering and Value Realization
- Develop a market analysis and value definition model
- Create repository of consolidate documentation for efficiencies
- Create standard operating procedures and documentation
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in biomedical engineering, quantitative science, marketing, computer science, or business analysis.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
- This is a full-time internship position with a duration of 3-6 months. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced software professionals and gain valuable experience in software, life sciences, and data management. - Pay range for this position is $20-$25/hr
- Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
