Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Student Registrar through our partnership with the CCIU!
The Student Registrar position will be the main point of contact for students enrolled in the Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA) program. This position communicates with students and parents to help them understand the program and maneuver through the BVA system.
Responsibilities include:
- Project management of the student registration process and course enrollment for Brandywine Virtual Academy
- Lead and manage the smooth enrollment of students into BVA courses
- Answer incoming calls, maintain program databases, schedule students and resolve problems
- Maintain accurate records and computer databases and provide associated reporting as requested
- Verifying the accuracy of enrollments according to specific date parameters
***MUST RESIDE IN PA (for clearance reasons)***
SUMMARY:
Location: Remote
Schedule: part time - 30-40 hours/week
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Requirements
ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS:
- Knowledge of web-based programs and apps
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt to organizational, system and developmental changes with assistance from supervisor and/or colleagues
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree in education or related field
- Experience as an instructional assistant or teacher preferred
- Experience troubleshooting computer- and technology-related issues preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
(Clearances current within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI -- Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening -- current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - diploma OR official transcripts from graduate program
