We are seeking a full-time Porter/Janitorial Custodian at a scattered-site portfolio in the Providence West Elmwood Housing Development neighborhoods.
Job Functions:
- Maintains building exterior, interior, and commons area floors by, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, washing, waxing, buffing, etc.
- Maintains the appearance of sites by collecting and discarding trash from common areas and throughout the site on a daily basis.
- Maintains sites to standards by observing and reporting damage for necessary repairs.
- Performs minor repair work, as assigned.
- Aids with snow removal by shoveling, salt/sanding, and operating other appropriate equipment.
- Ensures that buildings are safely secured at the end of the shift
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed
- Works overtime as required for snow removal.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read product instructions and safety materials
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and additional technology resources.
- Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and customers
- Ability to operate light machinery and simple hand tools
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between properties

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.
