About the Role:
As the Inventory & Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth inventory planning for both existing and newly launched products. Your responsibility will include supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for assigned product lines to strike a perfect balance between demand and supply. By delivering optimal inventory performance, you will be an integral part of our success.
How You Will Contribute:
In this dynamic position, you will be dedicated to a specific subset of the inMusic business. Collaborating closely with our product management and development teams, as well as global sales leadership, regional operations teams, our Taiwan manufacturing liaison office, and contract manufacturers, you will oversee the flow of finished goods and maintain optimal inventory levels. Your key responsibilities will include developing rolling 24-month demand forecasts and efficiently managing the entire supply chain, from purchase order placement to goods receipt. We are searching for an experienced supply chain professional who possesses exceptional planning, communication, and collaboration skills and can effectively implement demand and supply planning best practices at inMusic.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in supply chain management, business, or related field
- 3+ years applicable supply chain experience (Demand Planning/Supply Planning/Inventory Management/S&OP) preferably in a consumer goods industry.
- Solid grasp and clear understanding of basic financial and inventory measures: sales, margin, weeks of supply, safety stock, sell thru, inventory turns.
- Knowledge of S&OP principles and practices.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to work both cross-functionally and cross-culturally within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior SAP ERP experience in an MRP planning environment a plus
- Power BI experience a plus
