Videographer / Producer (CONTINGENT)

ROGERCO, Inc. delivers advanced technology, cybersecurity, communications advisory, and multi-media services and is looking for a talented, seasoned Videographer / Producer to join our creative team of artists to support a Navy client. Ideal candidates have an active Secret security clearance and previous communications work experience for the federal government, preferably defense. This position is on-site in Newport, RI. Candidates must also have an active SECRET security clearance and previous experience in multimedia design for the federal government. Contingent upon award of contract.

Requirements

• Develop strategy and tactical execution of video campaigns
• Create compelling visuals for a variety of media, including (but not limited to) digital signage, exhibits, social media, web banners, and videos
• Assist with art direction and copyediting
• Work with a creative team including photographers and videographers
• Work with a variety of production equipment and material such as cameras, lighting equipment, sound equipment, etc.
• Conceptualize, design, and develop unique one-off communication products to help tell the customer’s story

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, or Associates Degree in Photography
• 7-10 years demonstrated proficiency in managing photography and video projects including the planning, filming, editing, sound mixing, graphic design, and composition output
• Experience operating and maintaining analog and digital video, still cameras, and video editing equipment
• Proficient in creating, designing, formatting, editing, and maintaining a range of digital media
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively with customers ranging from all manner of DoD civilians all the way to the commanding officer
• Energetic, passionate, and intellectually curious
• Solid understanding of photography and videography concepts and technology and post-production methods
