Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Process Auditor in the automotive industry. As a Process Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all processes are compliant with industry standards, company policies, customer requirements and regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will be crucial in identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective strategies to optimize efficiency and quality control.
Requirements
· Perform comprehensive audits of manufacturing and support processes to assess conformance and identify opportunities for improvement
· Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to minimize quality issues and improve overall process performance.
· Identify and develop improvements to process control procedures to ensure consistency and minimize errors.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain process documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, control plans and PFMEAs.
· Coordination and sustainment of the ISRI Total Integrated Management System (TIMS) to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
· Analyze data and generate reports to track performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
· Provide training and support to employees to ensure understanding and adherence to management system standards, customer requirements and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate the plant device calibration program with service providers.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality position, preferably in the automotive industry.
· Training and/or certifications in systems or process auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Assessor, VDA 6.3).
· Experience in conducting systems and process audits as a Lead Auditor to international standards, preferably in the automotive industry.
· Working knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
· In-depth knowledge of quality control techniques, such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis software.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
