About The Role
Do you want to be part of creating a safer working environment?
As a QHSE Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that daily QHSE activities at our sites are carried out according to company standards. Your role is critical in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring that our products meet quality expectations by conducting routine inspections, monitoring safe practices, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
What You Will Do
- Conduct Routine Inspections:
- Perform regular QHSE inspections of workplaces to ensure safe systems of work
- Proper use of equipment, handling of hazardous substances, and maintenance of lifting equipment.
- Observe and monitor the correct use, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Observe and report behaviors that may pose a risk to the safety of individuals at work or to the environment.
- Identify and report deviations that could significantly impact the wellbeing of employees, environmental safety, operational security, or product quality.
- Develop and Maintain Quality Procedures, ISO Certifications:
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of company procedures aimed at ensuring product and process quality.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE and quality activities and assist in the preparation of QHSE Reports.
- Report near-miss incidents promptly to prevent potential hazards from materializing
- Maintain accurate records of HSE and quality activities and assist in the preparation of QHSE Reports.
- Setup and Maintain company standards for employees and visitors alike in regards to PPE and all aspects of HSE.
Quality Inspections:
- Conduct quality inspections of products to ensure they meet the company's standards and client expectations.
- Identify any quality issues and work with the relevant teams to resolve them.
- Create and maintain QMS and quality procedures.
Who we are looking for:
- A degree or diploma in a related field
- Be a team player to help grow the organization.
- Proven track record of success in Quality, Health and Safety.
- Previous experience with ISO Certification and audits.
Additional Requirements:
- Previous experience in the service industry or related fields is highly desirable.
- Industry-specific certifications or training programs are a plus.
- Awareness of ISO standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective training and communication skills.
