Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you will focus on prospecting into small businesses to secure new platform contracts that lower their fixed cost expenses. You will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying potential clients, initiating conversations, and setting up meetings for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with current and potential BusinessLoans.com clients who stand to benefit from our fixed cost reduction platform.
- Work with small businesses to understand their pain points, challenges, and financial obligations to help offset ongoing business expenses used to operate.
- Conduct initial needs assessments to understand prospects' current expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Candidates must make a minimum of 60 calls per day to meet the performance standards for this position.
This position is on-site in Charleston, SC.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in B2B sales.
- Strong understanding of small business operations and challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Highly motivated, with a results-driven approach and a strong desire to succeed.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment.
