1 Resoure Group is currently hiring for the position of Warehouse Technician II. As a Warehouse Technician II, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. You will work closely with other team members to receive, store, and distribute inventory. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company and contribute to its success.
Responsibilities:
• Pull orders from warehouse stock or restock as needed
• Inspect orders for correct items and correct quantities Keep work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition
• Conduct, monitor and perform cycle counts and annual inventory of equipment.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
• Adhere to Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
• Generally favorable indoor office workspace, and/or;
• Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels
Requirements
- High School diploma or global equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience in construction industry
- Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet, and electronic presentation programs
- Physically able to squat, stoop, bend, climb, lie on back, lift and pull, reach up and out, lift 70 pounds, carry 50 pounds, and use a 10-pound sledge hammer (or global weight equivalents)
- Good communication skills for internal and external customers
- Strong organization skills
- Knowledge of parts, inventory, and warehouse practices
- Ability analyze and improve work processes
- Warehouse: ability to pass internal forklift license
- Some SAP experience will be a plus
- The ability to run a receiving office, with all of the paperwork involved, is a definite need
- The attention to details is a must
- The underlying “being part of the team” is essential, to jump in and help pout anywhere needed and get dirty
