Robinson Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team. As a member of our veterinary staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients and exceptional customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Medical Examinations and Consultations: Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Surgical Procedures: Perform routine surgeries, such as spays, neuters, and dental procedures, as well as more complex surgeries as needed.
- Diagnostics: Interpret diagnostic tests, such as bloodwork and radiographs, and provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Client Education: Effectively communicate with clients to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and provide education on preventive care.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the veterinary team to provide comprehensive care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with clinic protocols and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- DVM or VMD degree: Must be a licensed veterinarian in the state and in good standing.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a veterinarian in a clinical setting.
- Strong medical and surgical skills: Ability to perform routine surgical procedures with confidence and proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff, and provide clear and concise explanations of diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Compassionate and empathetic: Demonstrates genuine care and empathy for animals and their owners.
- Team player: Works well in a collaborative environment and fosters a positive team dynamic.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree and a valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a veterinarian in a clinical setting.
- Strong medical and surgical skills, including proficiency in routine surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff.
