Full Job Description
Our partner is seeking a CLASS Specialist in Nashville, TN, to support CLASS-based professional development and training services for educational programs serving Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers.
Responsibilities:
- Train and provide ongoing support to participants and clients delivering programs.
- Deliver and contribute to observer support programs/services (e.g., reliability support, calibration, double coding).
- Collaborate with other CLASS Specialists to ensure quality service implementation.
- Guide and collaborate with clients on multi-layered contracts.
- Build relationships with leaders to foster high-quality interactions.
- Support planning and coordinate service implementation.
- Enter and maintain data reflecting provided services.
- Collaborate across departments for seamless service implementation.
- Contribute to program materials development and revision to meet client needs.
- Achieve and maintain certification and reliability for assigned CLASS tool age levels.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for internal teams.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the organization.
Requirements
- Certified CLASS Observer.
- Master's degree (or higher) in education or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in education.
- Experience in providing professional development and support to education professionals.
- Knowledge of current trends in early childhood education research and practice.
- Team player with problem-solving abilities and creativity in responding to challenges.
- Ability to provide both directive and supportive feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven training, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in technology use, including Google Suites, Canvas, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft Programs.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K classrooms.
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K classrooms.
- Experience working on military bases.
- CLASS Observer certification in Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K tools.
