This is a chance to work for one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturers with lots of development and growth opportunities. The role is available due to continued growth but for anybody that joins the business, the future offers a chance for them to develop, learn and be involved in some interesting, design, new build, and innovative projects. Although this is a projects function there will be aspects of operations and HV electrical asset maintenance.
You will be in charge of the Medium - High Voltage electrical networks on site meaning you will be the responsible person and subject matter expert. This role is pivotal to the expansion of the site and its operations therefore, you will be responsible for the design and oversee the projects team responsible for delivering new electrical network infrastructure.
You will be tasked with:
· Responsible for Electrical Design for medium and high voltage Capital Projects
· Supervising and/or supporting Engineering and Construction Contractors on an ‘as needed’ basis.
· Electrical design criteria and specifications as well as industry recognized standards.
· Medium – High Voltage calculations
· Assistance with Medium – High Voltage switching and Isolations.
· Supporting Operations and Maintenance as a technical resource when needed.
· Reviews Engineering drawings and instructions to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Requirements
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
· Professional engineering license (PE License) preferred but not essential
· 5 - 10+ year’s of related experience in a Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
· Thorough understanding of electronic systems and component materials
· Advanced knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.)
· Will be known across the organization for their expertise, strategic vision and enterprise perspective.
· Creates solutions to complex, non-routine problems.
· Provides recommendations to management within business/functional team.

· Salary between $120k - $140k (Dependent on experience)
