Swiftwick is seeking a highly organized person with a passion for running who can represent the brand on the road and engage authentically with local run communities. With the goal of supporting runners across the country, the Field Marketing Specialist should be able to lead on-site event logistics for a seamless event experience. This position will report directly to the Head of Integrated Marketing.

Responsibilities
- The Field Marketing Representative will assist the Head of Integrated Marketing with the planning, execution, tracking and follow-up of in-person marketing activations.
- Research, build, and maintain relationships with local run club communities, race / meet organizers, and content creators across the country.
- Lead pre-event communications and logistics with run club organizers, retail partners, and internal team members.
- Oversee management of product inventory, swag, and event assets.
- Capture photo and video at events for the brand’s social media accounts.
- Partner with Swiftwick sales team to coordinate visits with run specialty retailers, making connections with both new and existing retail accounts.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in event/community organizing with the desire to learn more about marketing.
- Organized and efficient, able to develop and execute against a clear plan.
- Team player with ability to be a self starter.
- Domestic travel to support all community marketing events.
- Basic arithmetic skills with ability to forecast and place orders; prior Google Sheets / Excel experience ideal.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our insurance carrier), and be able to rent a vehicle.
Working Conditions
- Able to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditions.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Role will require working hours based on run club schedules (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays).
This is a contract position with commitment from the end of September through December (with the potential for a date extension). All travel expenses will be covered. Open to hybrid within the Southeast region.
