Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required due to engagement with U.S. Defense Department projects under ITAR regulations.
- A solid foundation with a B.S. degree or higher in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering. Preference given to M.S. degree holders, though not a prerequisite.
- A rich background of 2-4 years in working with graphite materials and familiarity with production techniques such as pressing, extrusion, and isostatic processes.
- Expertise in ceramics, carbon, graphite, and/or powdered metals is crucial.
- A proven track record in high-temperature materials processing.
- Strong project management capabilities are highly desirable.
- Adept in experimental design, statistics, and data analysis tools (DOE, ANOVA).
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while being an independent initiator.
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge or experience is an added advantage.
