Summary:
The Receiving & Inventory Clerk position is part of a team that serves the company by maintaining all aspects of inventory. From forecasting future needs to the breaking of inbound shipments, the team is responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of inventory accuracy. We work closely with the Product Team to ensure quality of our products, with the Accounting Team to process invoices and month end reporting, and with the Shipping Team to supply them with products to ship and/or prepare for shipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Receive in all deliveries.
• Complete paperwork, label pallets, put away.
• Pull, Store and Maintain a sample from each batch that is received.
• Label, keep searchable database, and then retrieve if necessary.
• Maintain Bulk Storage.
• Keep products organized and rotated by first expiration first out.
• Prepare for Kitting.
• Pull pallets of component product and manufacture completed work orders in the system.
• Maintain appropriate Inventory levels.
• Aid in forecasting and kitting scheduling, refill pallet racks in active area and troubleshoot product that cannot be shipped.
• Cycle Count.
• Lead Year End Inventory counts as well as regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
• Min 2 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center required
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fluid environment with a 'can do' attitude.
• Ability to drive a forklift preferred.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
· Must be able to move and work in a non-climate-controlled distribution center environment.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push, pull, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
