Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Senior Technologist (Independent Engineering Advisor).

Navarro is seeking an Senior Technologist (Independent Engineering Advisor) to provide technical oversight, certification, and consulting services for a major geothermal power production project. The Independent Engineer (IE) will play a crucial role in ensuring the project’s compliance with technical standards, monitoring progress, and certifying various stages of project completion. This is a remote position.
Requirements
- Individual should have at least 10 years of experience and be a recognized industry leader in geothermal power production facilities and geothermal underground resource evaluation and development or a closely related technology, recognized authority on industry standards and quality management principles, and demonstrate a strong track-record of professional experience in geothermal power production and geothermal underground resource assessment and development for banks and financial institutions.
- Individual must demonstrate experience in evaluating the reliability and performance of geothermal power production systems, including an understanding of probabilistic and statistical methods related to risk assessments, fault tree analysis, failure mode and effects analysis as these techniques relate to operational reliability and safety.
Education: Individual must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, in such fields as one of the engineering disciplines, preferably engineering, physical sciences, engineering mechanics, or other related field. A professional engineering license and additional degrees at the masters or doctoral level are preferred.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
