Full Job Description
Are you ready to dive into a role that isn't just a job but an exciting opportunity to grow our organic social media followers and engagement? Look no further because, at Full Focus, we're on the hunt for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes strategy, engagement, and all things social media.
The mission of the Social Media Manager is to contribute to the overall profitability of Full Focus by creating a social media strategy that consistently drives engagement and produces new leads that turn into raving fans and customers.
The Social Media Manager will advance the message and mission of Full Focus by successfully growing our social media following and delivering content that drives engagement and positions Full Focus as the top resource for the anti-burnout, anti-hustle lifestyle.
We are excited to take our social media strategy to the next level and really give it the attention it deserves. We need an absolute A-Player who is strategic, highly up-to-date on the best social media practices, and isn’t afraid to take initiative.
If you want to be part of a healthy team with a great culture that feels like a family, has competent and supportive leadership, and a place you can really settle down long-term, you’ll love this role.
However, you won't do well in this role if you prefer highly defined day-to-day duties, don’t really enjoy figuring things out, and trying new processes seems intimidating.
We are not micromanagers at Full Focus. We don’t care about how things have always been done, how you’ve always done things, or what anyone’s SOP is. What we care about is: 1) you love what you do every day and wake up excited to do it, and 2) our company’s success.
We are committed to measuring both on a regular basis.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our entire team, but primarily the Marketing Director for Owned Audiences.
Your goal in this role is to grow our social media following. Specifically, in the first six months as the Social Media Manager, you aim to accomplish these two main objectives:
- You have successfully created and executed an engaging strategy that drives results.
- You generate 2,000 new monthly email subscribers through social media channels.
This is achieved through three primary areas of focus, including but not limited to:
- Strategy - You are highly strategic. You’re always thinking through how each post fits into the overall audience growth strategy and our company’s rally cry. You’re constantly learning the best practices for social media marketing and know the best ways to drive engagement and growth. You know how to create a compelling strategy for an e-commerce brand as well as our team’s primary talent profiles. You specifically incorporate ManyChat into your strategy to drive engagement (you’ll work closely with our outsourced team of experts on this), email subscribers, and purchases. You are highly collaborative and enjoy working alongside the team to accomplish our goals.
- Creative - You understand the best creative types that work the algorithm. You have a pocket full of tools to create assets and Reels and are comfortable with graphic design, video editing, and concept creation. You understand and appreciate aesthetics, and you know how to write captions that inspire engagement and connection. You work closely with our Creative Manager to ensure brand consistency. You work to seek out UGC from our community and collaborate with our Paid Media Buyer to deliver creative that converts.
- Execution & Engagement - You love checking things off your to-do list. You are very comfortable executing a strategic content plan that you’ve created. You work directly with talent to get story content to post daily. You know the best practices, like adding captions to all stories and how to drive engagement by asking questions, posting polls, etc. You frequently work closely with our Customer Support team to handle any needs that come in through social media.
In your role as Social Media Manager, the primary number you own on the team is the number of new email subscribers generated monthly through organic social media.
You will also be responsible for reporting on a handful of KPIs, including, but not limited to, engagement rate, emails collected via Manychat, post impressions, content performance, etc.
