Position Summary:
Technical Service Senior Manager is responsible for the technical service excellence of our vehicles, commercial handheld, e-mobility, and other commercial product. This position requires up to 80-90% of travel at peak seasons to fully engage in customer technical service and repairs. This position may require international travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage all service technicians to ensure proper resolution of filed issues.
· Ensure written safety procedure is always available before any maintenance and repair by service technicians and by customers.
· Ensure service technicians comply with set safety/health policies and procedures.
· Work with engineering to update service manual, service bulletin and training material.
· Provide hands-on training to service technicians to ensure a competent and effective workforce.
· Provide periodic hands-on training to customers based on customer needs.
· Monitor and review employee work performance to identify areas of inefficiency.
· Mentor and motivate service technicians to deliver timely and high-quality services to customers.
· Performs all other duties as required.
Requirements
· Education from a college/university majoring in Automobile Repair, Electro-Mechanical Maintenance, or another similar field, and/or 5 years work experience in one of these areas, such as OPE service, electric forklift service, electric golf car service etc.
· Technical service experience in leading OPE or Agricultural / Construction / Material-Handling Engineering Equipment companies or dealers will be a big plus.
· Be proficient in the operation of various measuring tools and instruments. Including but not limited to multimeter, clamp meter, temp. recorder, AC/DC power source.
· Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
· Knowledge of CAN BUS protocol preferred.
· People management skill, good communication skills, both verbal and written.
