Full Job Description
As a Branch Manager, you will:
- Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with company policy.
- Assess the risk of all financial transactions executed by organization personnel.
- Direct, coordinate, and monitor activities to implement the institution's policies and procedures.
- Promote goodwill and generate new business by engaging with customers, businesses, community, and civic organizations.
- Compile and report financial data as required by the organization and government regulations.
- Manage difficult customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs, and resolve account problems.
- Cross-train and serve in teller and Customer Service Representative functions.
- Collaborate with HR and the Area Branch Manager on interviews, training, and performance appraisals for branch positions.
- Participate in the annual Business Continuity Plan Mock Tests.
- Ensure security procedures are followed according to bank policy.
Requirements
- Knowledge of banking operations, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Effective and tactful communication with other departments and branches.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting consistent deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills.
- Utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience in a Bank management environment.
- Three to five years of supervisory experience preferred.
- CSR and previous banking experience required.
