Your new role: Business Development Representative (BDR) – US
Location: Dallas, Texas (Onsite/Hybrid)
Potential OTE: $65k to $80k per annum
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Cognigy your role is crucial in identifying and sourcing leads tailored to our ideal customer profile. You are instrumental in our ability to build a robust pipeline by sourcing potential customers who align closely within our target demographic. Your efforts not only drive new business growth, but also allow us to concentrate our efforts where we are most likely to win.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver sales-qualified leads to account teams to support personal, team and corporate sales targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with account executives to identify prospect accounts using lead generation tools and B2B databases such as ZoomInfo, Outreach, and HubSpot to uncover new areas of pipeline growth.
- Work with the marketing team to create and execute comprehensive, multi-channel outreach campaign strategies (phone, email, LinkedIn), utilizing both broad-based and account-specific approaches.
- Attend in-person conferences and partner events to prospect and identify potential new customers.
- Assist with market segmentation and go-to-market strategies to identify target customer segments and key contacts.
- Create engaging content for outreach campaigns, including crafting email copy and leveraging marketing assets to ensure alignment with marketing and sales objectives.

Requirements
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/commerce, marketing, market research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years in lead generation, sales, marketing, or a similar role, preferably in a tech, software or startup environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects across various stakeholders.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with segmentation and lead generation, methodologies, tools/B2B databases.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with HubSpot for managing leads, accounts, and contact data, building reports, and analyzing performance metrics through dashboards.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong research, data management, and analytical skills. Ability to analyze data and respond effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to events 2-3 times per quarter.
