AmpThink is a systems integrator for the sports and entertainment industry, servicing the largest and most iconic venues in the world. Our recent experience includes work as the Master Technology Integrator (MTI) for projects including Dickies Arena, SoFi Stadium, Allegiant Stadium, City Park, and CPKC Stadium (the first professional sporting venue dedicated to women's sports). Over the past 13 years, we have delivered projects at over 95 stadiums and arenas. Our multi-function business includes manufacturing, logistics, creative services, mechanical design, and field engineering units. Our team has been assembled to offer our clients turn-key solutions.
We are seeking an experienced financial professional to:
- Join the AmpThink leadership team as the company's financial expert.
- Own all aspects of the business’s accounting function; for example AR, AP, GL, Inventory, Cash Planning, and Reporting.
- Work with AmpThink’s Customer Experience team to ensure that the quotation, procurement, and invoicing functions are executed in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Advise the leadership team on strategic options for supporting the company's growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Working within the Zoho suite of enterprise tools (Zoho One: https://www.zoho.com/one/).
- Management of AmpThink's accounting functions.
- Management of insurance relationships.
- Management of human resource functions.
- Day to day administration of all accounting activities.
- Preparation of job profitability reporting in support of project delivery.
- Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Management of vendor and banking relationships.
- Preparation of compliance reporting.
- Management of sales tax reporting via Avalara.
- Coordination with outside CPA firm in support of preparation of tax returns and an annual review.
- Budget development and tracking.
- Participation in weekly production meetings in support of field work.
- Managing the acquisition and finance of new equipment and/or facilities expansion.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressively responsible work experience in the accounting profession
- A 4-year degree in accounting or finance
- CMA or CPA preferred
- Advanced degree in accounting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
