This role may be located in El Paso, TX if not local to the area remote with travel will be required.

The Client Development Director must have experience in the BPO space to be considered for this exciting role. This role is responsible for generating new business and expanding the existing customer book of business by closing new business and driving business growth, identifying opportunities, tracking new markets, and building sustainable client relationships. In fulfilling this role, the Client Development Director will identify and contact new client contacts to offer them company products and services and help establish strategies and policies crucial to expanding the presence of DATAMARK and our services. The Client Development Director will help set personal business objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets while collaborating with the marketing, sales, and operations departments to make sure business plans are in line with company growth strategy. The Client Development Director will also develop Account Plans, conduct research to identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends and make adjustments where necessary. This role also involves analyzing existing approaches to business development and working with the VP of Sales & Marketing to recommend changes in strategy with the goal of increasing revenue derived from existing clients. This position may also aid the operations team by providing insights that support new business ventures within existing client accounts. The Client Development Director may also be assigned a certain number of new prospective accounts and be held accountable to prospect within them to earn new business. The Client Development Director will achieve or exceed quotas by delivering persuasive solutions and presentations that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. The salary for this role is budgeted at $90,000 base annually with commission incentives

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target industries and companies
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favorable terms for both parties
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through ongoing account management
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, in the BPO industry
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel as required
