Full Job Description
The Construction Coordinator will report to Construction and Project Managers and provide contract support and project coordination for their assigned project teams. This involves managing the contract administration, supporting implementation of the Quality Management Plan, anticipating managers' needs, managing workload, and producing high quality work within expected timelines. The Construction Coordinator is the central point of contact for team members for drafting and processing Contracts, Pay Estimates, and Change Orders, and manages and tracks the documents. The Construction Coordinator may serve as the first point of contact for contract queries, and shall interact both with internal resources and also with contractors. This position may also provide general administrative and clerical support tasks for their group(s). This position requires sound communication, initiative, and strong organizational and technical skills.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have administrative experience in a construction, engineering, or project management environment. A valid driver's license is required for this role.
Education/Experience:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent plus 5+ years in an administrative/project support role including 3 years of construction related experience or
- Associates degree plus 3+ years in an administrative/ project support role including 2 years construction related experience or
- Degree in Business, Accounting or Administration plus 2+ years in a project or construction support role
Technical:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Office 365, MS Excel MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in conversion software like Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore, and Revit.
- Proficient with virtual meeting software
- Proficient with project management software and CRM systems, including reporting capabilities with custom and routine reports
- Experience with cloud-based social media applications, like SharePoint preferred.
- Certification by PMI (Project Management Institute) preferred
