Job Description
We are looking to find a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to support our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data within our databases and systems. Your attention to detail will ensure the integrity of our information, which is critical to our mission of conserving and managing natural resources effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.
Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations.
Scan documents and print files, when needed.
Keep information confidential.
Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Keep files up to date.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Ability to work in high volume, fast paced environment governed by production standards
Require clerical, reading, writing and mathematical skills
Able to analyze, respond and comprehend client’s standard operating procedures and their instructions
Have good hand-to-eye coordination
Flexibility and willingness to learn and be utilized in all areas of operation
Opening, sorting and verifying contents of mail
Ensuring accuracy of documents and preparing them for processing
Identifying and correcting errors in data
Flexibility and willingness to learn and be utilized in all areas of operation
Be open minded with a positive attitude
Qualifications
High school diploma and demonstrated literacy competency.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
Proficiency in M1 ERP System, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and Quick-books.
Strong data entry and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with product knowledge is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow procedures.
