The Assistant Academy is recruiting a Director of Digital Media and Brand Operations for a highly successful influencer and entrepreneur in Dallas, Texas. This person will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of all digital media platforms and brand products for the client. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital media, brand management, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for driving growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of digital media and brand product initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and achieve business goals and objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Digital Media Management:
- Oversee the production and distribution of digital content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and other online channels.
- Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of high-quality digital media.
- Coordinate with content creators, editors, and designers to produce engaging and on-brand content.
- Analyze and report on digital media performance metrics, implementing strategies to enhance audience engagement and reach.
- Repurpose previously posted content and create new content for various platforms.
- Brand Product Operations:
- Manage the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market demand.
- Oversee sourcing, manufacturing, and inventory management processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of brand products.
- Develop and execute product launch and promotional strategies.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback, making data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings.
- Develop strategy for future wholesale opportunities for brand products.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and opportunities for professional growth.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between digital media, brand product, and other departments as these are developed.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for digital media and brand product operations, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation to achieve cost-efficiency.
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital media, brand management, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, content trends, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing diverse teams and building strong relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities to assess performance metrics and inform strategy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the digital media, entertainment, or e-commerce industries.
- Passion for social media, content creation, and lifestyle brands.

The first 30-90 days will be a trial period and will only be 25 hours a week and will be paid at $30/hour. Following the successful trial period the role will turn into a full-time salaried position with compensation ranging from $65k - $85k depending on experience.
