GolfSuites™ is seeking a Director of Operations in Lubbock, TX. GolfSuites™ mission is to provide a fun, all-Inclusive, engaging, and authentic golf-centric entertainment venue focused on ultimate hospitality and game improvement. The Director of Operations is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating venue operations across all departments to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. The Director of Operations manages and coaches GolfSuites’s leaders to guarantee their teams provide best-in-class service and hospitality while delivering fun with passion to our Guests. The Director of Operations is responsible for all business functions, including executing daily operational activities, building a strong team through effective hiring, scheduling, development and team engagement, implementing and upholding processes and standards, ensuring quality food preparation, maximizing financial performance, building relationships with the community, and growing the GolfSuites brand.

- Plan, direct and coordinate day-to-day venue operations w/ Assistant Director of Operations
- Oversee/Manage the Membership Program in your venue with a dotted line to the President of GolfSuites
- Oversee/Manage Event Sales and Operations with a dotted line to National Director of Events
- Guide the Department Managers and their Team Partners in providing best-in-class service and hospitality
- Interact with Guests to ensure positive guest service in all areas

- Be Part of the Chambers
- Be part of Lubbock Business Clubs
- Hire, manage, coach, and develop management team
- Delegate and follow-up on the completion of tasks
- Drive Manager and Team Partner engagement
- Forecast and manage sales and expenses
- Leverage business metrics and trends to drive performance and to maximize profit and revenue
- Hold managers accountable for managing operations
- Enforce compliance with food handling standards and ensure consistent high quality food preparation
- Uphold operating standards and drive Guest and team safety and satisfaction
- Cultivate relationships with community leaders and organizations to ensure strong connection
Requirements
- 3+ years as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager in a high volume ($5M+ annual revenue) restaurant, hotel, or golf environment with experience running BOH and FOH operations
- Multi-unit management experience is desired but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with managing a PNL and other financial statements related to sales and performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
- Excellent communication, time management, collaboration, and organization skills
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods including maneuvering up and down stairs
- Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location
- Willingness to relocate, if necessary
