Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Outpatient services for our 118-bed behavioral health hospital in Georgetown, Texas. The Director of Outpatient Services will be responsible for the development and implementation of Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute's outpatient services by administering a comprehensive program that responds to the community's needs and supports the hospital's overall mission, philosophy, and goals. Responsible for coordinating all patient services and retaining quality personnel through hiring, training, and constant evaluation of programming.
Essential Duties include:
- Creates, directs, and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient services function. Ensures a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and various programs under outpatient.
- Monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards.
- Develops and implements training to ensure that all employees receive adequate direction on preferred clinical practices, approaches, and current system trends. Seeks out additional internal and external training resources when necessary. Ensures that regulatory and organizational training requirements are satisfied.
- Ensures that both internal and external incident reporting requirements are met for all crises and unusual incidents.
- Partners with internal and external partners on programs.
- Attends all external and internal meetings and training sessions as required.
- Maintains compliance with all GBHI policies and procedures with no unauthorized exceptions.

Requirements
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree or higher in behavioral science, mental-health related field required.
Experience: Clinical, supervisory and administrative experience in an outpatient mental health setting preferred. General knowledge of areas of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment required.
Required Licenses: Licensed to practice in the State of Texas as an LCSW or LMSW.
Additional Requirements: Must obtain and maintain approved CPR certification and Management of Assaultive Behavior training including restraint and seclusion policies.
