Our client is seeking a Rental Coordinator to lead a sales team with a primary focus on power generation equipment and construction equipment rentals. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a proven track record in the rental industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth, foster a high-performance team culture, and effectively capitalize on opportunities in the power generation and construction equipment rental market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, with a specific emphasis on backup generator rentals.
- Identify and capitalize on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Backup Generator Rentals Focus:
- Drive sales initiatives specifically targeting backup generator rentals for various applications, including events, construction projects, and emergency preparedness.
Collaboration with Operations:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination between sales and equipment delivery/installation.
- Address any operational challenges impacting sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Industry experience in the rental equipment market
- Knowledge of power generation equipment and construction equipment
- 2+ years experience in a rental equipment position
- Territory management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and listening skills
