ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Associate Business Analyst at Equus Software, you will be part of the Global Client Success team. The focus of the role is to provide innovative solutions and solve problems to meet the client’s technical requirements working as a team. You will do this by supporting a team of business and senior business analysts. You will assist the team in providing solutions through the onboarding of the Equus Workforce Solutions which require ongoing technical configuration, troubleshooting, replication of application issues, testing of system upgrades, as well as keeping current on the most recent application enhancements.

This position will be on a hybrid work set-up, minimum 2 times/week in the Plano or Lakewood office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to effectively problem-solve issues to resolution, this will require the ability to partner with your team for additional support when needed.
- Skilled in organizing client technical information during client meetings by taking meeting minutes/notes, detailing exact technical specifications.
- Able to perform requirement analysis, configuration, testing and issue resolution.
- When requested, participate, or assist in the preparation of client webinars, conferences, demos, and other presentations to both clients and internal Equus team.
- Decipher technical client build document requirements by writing test plans and test cases for quality assurance and user acceptance, including conducting QA testing and reporting results.
- Gain exposure to Equus products and client projects; both technical and functional, with hands-on assignments.
- Develops strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.
- May at times participate in a quarterly live chat rotation with other team members to provide exceptional service to our clients who are requesting online help.
- Participate in team standups and meetings.
- Participate in client working sessions.
- Participate in other Equus internal initiatives.
- Seek out information about the global mobility industry and software industries and apply that knowledge to day-to-day activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Efficiently handle data-intensive and time-sensitive tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as organizational skills to effectively communicate and interact with all levels within the Equus organization.
- Ability to quickly understand our client needs and technical expectations both verbally and written.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines by demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills required.
- Team player with a positive attitude required.
- Desired: Technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development and/or web technology.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Required: experience with multiple software and system-based applications; Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced excel knowledge, desired but not required.
- Knowledge and experience using Atlassian products: Confluence and Jira applications, desired but not required.
- Learned applications: Slack, ClickTime, Kantata, 15five. KnowBe4.
- Working or basic knowledge: Structured query language writing / SQL Server Management Studio understanding.
