Full Job Description
The Makreting Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing dealership events and overseeing the marketing plan/assets such as submitting graphics requests for website rotators, social posts, posters, banners and flyers. This person is the overall communication conduit between Regional/National and the Store Department Managers. They are expected to push out creative materials to the public to help drive traffic and door swings to the store. They are also responsible for making sure the store is presented professionally and has proper and up to date signage at all times.
Requirements
● Must be available and willing to work most weekends and some holidays
● Responsible for the implementation of the dealerships marketing plan which will be pushed out from the regional and national marketing teams.
● Coordinate the development and implementation of the dealerships events, and public relations activities – send weekly communication both internally to Dealership Department Managers/GMs and outward to customer data lists.
● ALL paid media, sponsorships and vendor agreements must be reviewed and approved by regional marketing and final approval from national marketing.
● Organize community events for the dealership, such as fashion shows, open houses, motorcycle rides, and charity events; also organize HOG Chapter activities.
● Review in store marketing and events budget to make sure we are staying under budget.
● Maintain a file folder on Google shared drive for each event to be used for future event planning - recaps are required.
● Audit websites weekly to make sure rotators and event calendars are up to date.
● Do a dealership walk through weekly - make sure all posters and flyers are up to date - there is an event calendar clearly posted for employees and customers. Make note of anything that needs attention or fixed inside or outside of the dealership property. Report any safety issues to the GM/Regional Marketing Manager.
● Digital Marketing, submit requests to RumbleOn team for execution and RMM must review and approve.
● Adhere to OEM MAP and dealer agreement guidelines as well as COOP requirements
● Follow our internal process for MAP review and approval on any and all ads and campaigns.
● Professionally promote the dealerships products and services to attract new guests and/or target markets
● Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to make things right- review Google, Yelp, social media reviews and respond as needed. Act as the in-store point person for Catalyst App training for the front line staff.
● Model superior customer service behavior for all marketing personnel by maintaining positive relationships with guests, employees, GMs, and outside partners
● Fully functional in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. Multitasking is needed
● Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling
● Complete Risk Management training and help enforce these requirements during marketing events. Make good decisions for the dealership and company as a whole when planning events.
