Full Job Description

Envirogen Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support various HR functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the HR department and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and providing support in payroll administration. You will also help with employee relations initiatives, training programs, and performance management, ensuring that all HR practices align with company policies and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day recruiting activities for North America growth initiatives.
  • Enter data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including applicant status, interview tracking, interview feedback and comments.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to HR Director or appropriate management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. 
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now products is preferred, however must have experience working within an HRIS System.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to interface and discuss issues with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized to balance and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Be professionally motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
