Unimacts is seeking a passionate and driven Human Resources Manager to lead our North Houston operations. As the cornerstone of our HR department, you’ll be the go-to person for all HR-related inquiries from employees and external partners. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating hiring efforts for our expanding manufacturing facility in Conroe, TX, ensuring a seamless integration of new talent into our vibrant team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining personnel records, managing essential HR documents, and keeping our internal databases up to date. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional adept at managing various administrative tasks efficiently. Ultimately, you’ll ensure our HR department supports our employees while adhering to labor laws.
- Strategic HR Deployment: Implement Human Resources policies, practices, and programs to build organizational capability, foster a trusting and inclusive culture, and ensure we have the best talent to execute our strategy.
- Collaborative Leadership: Partner with division leadership, functional leaders, and site managers to align HR programs with key business objectives. Drive unified plans that support operations, business, financial, and employee engagement goals.
- Guidance and Mentorship: Provide leadership guidance and mentoring. Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges, counsel and influence leadership on policies, practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance with local and governmental requirements.
- Training and Development: Lead the development and execution of training programs, providing leadership and guidance to enhance workforce skills.
- Safety Culture: Promote a culture where health and safety are paramount, utilizing Environmental, Health & Safety (MESH) management to ensure compliance and advance our “zero incidents” culture.
- Positive Employee Relations: Drive positive employee relations to create an optimal work environment, making work exciting, engaging, and meaningful for all employees.
- Talent Management: Build organizational capability through talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management, and employee development. Foster a culture of manager ownership and accountability throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Talent Acquisition: Work closely with a Talent Acquisition Leader and a Plant Manager to manage plant hiring responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist or HR management experience, or 5 years of HR experience with successful completion of an HR Leadership program.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
