Full Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Complete hydraulic calculations for drag reducing agents (DRA), including performance prediction and dosage optimization;
- Conduct or support field trials of DRA at customer sites, including: assist with site set-up and installation, collect data for trial evaluation, perform calculations, prepare written test reports;
- Provide technical training to both internal and external personnel on all aspects of DRA;
- Advisor may work directly with customer or in conjunction with sales group;
- Maintain and improve performance database;
- Prepare technical documentation for participation in DRA tender bids, including but not limited to: hydraulic analysis; effective dosage estimation, equipment sizing, etc.
Important details:
- Successful candidate will be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Must be available for up to 50% of domestic travel and 10% of international travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant experience providing field/technical support in Operations/Engineering.
- Technical expertise in liquid pipeline hydraulics (crude oil & refined fuels, preferred).
- Excellent ability to identify problems and to create innovative approaches to solve the problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
