Foresight Risk and Insurance – Insurance Operations Coordinator
Description
Foresight Group is seeking a motivated, tech savvy Operations Coordinator to join our Operations team. The Operations Coordinator will report to the Insurance Operations Manager and support other cross functional teams, such as Underwriting, by optimizing operations across all departments. By using their Salesforce experience, the Insurance Operations Coordinator will optimize current workflows through use of automations, create meaningful reporting to assist departments with analysis of day to day business operations and collaborate cross functionally to optimize current processes. This person must have an interest in the Insurance and Safety industries and have a drive to learn the workflows and processes. The Operations Coordinator is entrusted with advancing critical priorities within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Populate data and run quality assurance checks
- Ensure Commercial Insurance Underwriters have quality data available for risk analysis
- Transfer data into a standard and digestible format
- Ensure timeframes are met to deliver data
- Work with business teams across the company to document and optimize business processes and workflows
- Work cross functionally with systems administrators to provide workflow automation creation and support
- Act as a resource for team members across all teams to assist with support and training for workflows and diagnose workflow issues
- Plan and coordinate activities including, but not limited to meetings, workflow generation, project planning and other related programs/projects
- Assist with solution strategies for business requirements and enhancement requests
- Assist with reporting and analysis on an as needed basis
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Experience with Salesforce required
- Experience with workflow automation
- Understanding of workflow automation
- Experience with Workers Compensation or Commercial Insurance required
- Interest and/or experience in the Insurance industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset with desire to learn and work with cross functional teams
- Strong customer service skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced skills with Excel / Google Sheets
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to be flexible and help with any business need that arises
- Excellent, effective, and diplomatic communication skills (verbal/written)
- Confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization

As a fully remote company, the compensation range provided is based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, and other business and organizational needs and is based on national averages*. At Foresight, and its subsidiaries, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45,000 - $50,000 + bonus + equity.
