Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our vibrant team! The IT Support Specialist will help us continue spreading the joy of gardening and making it accessible by providing comprehensive technical support, including troubleshooting and maintenance for all office devices, alongside our online platforms. If you have exceptional attention to detail and you are passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, we would love to have you on our team! This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.
- Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective support to employees for all IT-related problems, including software issues, network disruptions, and hardware failures.
- Office Device Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all office devices, including printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Network Management: Monitor and maintain the company’s LAN, WAN, WiFi networks, ensuring connectivity and network health across all office and e-commerce operations.
- Security: Implement security measures and protocols to protect data and maintain the integrity of both office and e-commerce systems.
- System Updates and Maintenance: Regularly update systems, software, and hardware, ensuring all devices are running the latest approved versions.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Respond to IT support tickets for hardware and software issues; diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Keep an accurate inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses, and manage procurement of new technology as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of systems configurations, IT procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on how to use office technology and systems effectively.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors to manage equipment warranties and service agreements..
- Follow Company safety and quality procedures; and other policies and guidelines governing Company operations.
- Perform other duties and related projects as assigned by direct supervisor or the Leadership Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in IT support, including direct experience with office device support and management.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and various operating systems.
- Experience in handling IT security, data backup, and system recovery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Location and Work Schedule:
- 13808 Boudreaux Road, Bldg. #2, Tomball, TX 77377:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch break 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.

- Salary range for the role is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
