Position Summary:
We are working on a long-term project as part of the John Lewis Social Justice Academy at Oliver Wendell Holmes. This project involves the transformation of a mid-century modern campus into a 21st-century learning environment, replacing an existing school.
The Journeyman Electrician will provide leadership, efficient installation of electrical work, training, and quality control. The Journeyman may also be responsible for the development of apprentices assigned to them.
Requirements
- Must posses a current and valid Texas Journeyman Certification
- NOTE: Include your Certification Number when applying
- Must have electrical skills, including, but not limited to; plan reading, layout, various conduit bending, wire pulling, and ability to follow directions
- Must be proficient with the use of hand power tools
- Must have reliable transportation and your own hand tools
Special Considerations:
- Commercial/Industrial Project Experience Preferred
- Underground Utility Experience Preferred
- Willingness to work night shifts and/or overtime
Salary Range:
- $35.00/hour - $45.00/hour
- Note: This is a Private Base Rate. This position is Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Eligible depending on project assignment. Additional fringe benefits may per project designated wage determination.
