Service First Mortgage is currently hiring for a Loan Delivery Supports Specialist.
We are seeking an entry level candidate who is excited to join the mortgage industry
The Loan Delivery Support Specialist enters the received and shipped dates into the loan origination system for all incoming trailing documents, prints cover sheets from the loan origination system file, and ships the document to the investor who has purchased the loan from the company.
Duties include:
- Pick up each day’s incoming mail and enter the receipt date into the loan origination system
- Print the Final Docs Checklist for applicable loans
- Scan documents to the appropriate file in the loan origination system
- Ship the Final Docs to each investor once a week at a minimum
- Analyze document errors and determine best corrective document and action
- Utilize the “Final Docs Tracking (Loan Delivery) All Loans” report at least weekly with follow up on aging docs
- Utilize the “Final Docs Corrections Tracking DOT/Title” report to track corrections that have been ordered
- Track all GNMA final docs and notify Secondary team of any outstanding issues
- Aged document fee invoice reconciliation in conjunction with Accounting team
- Heavy communication with title company to secure original documents and/or corrections
- Adhere to all Final Docs service level agreements with respect to auditing and scanning, delivering to the investor, and additional investor/DMI requests.
- Perform duties related to the receptionist desk
Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 0-3 years of applicable working experience; mortgage experience is a plus
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Skills:
- Good communication skills, including spelling and grammar
- Aptitude for self-development and learning
- Average to above average understanding and proficiency with MS Excel reporting and spreadsheets with ability to manipulate data as needed and supply monthly to management
- Strong planning and organization skills, to include attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks and projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively follow up on aging items via email and telephone
- React with appropriate levels of urgency and awareness to deadlines and situations/events that require quick response or turnaround
- High level of integrity, ethics, discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
